Unlike the "fashion" rain boots that rather quickly spring leaks and cause soaked feet, these will keep your feet dry. Parts of my yard get ankle deep standing water in the spring and I am able to wade through the water and mud and muck no problem. I have a wide foot, and these run a bit snug, but they are not uncomfortable.
