I read the other reviews and knew this boot ran a little big. I ordered a 1/2 size down and it fits perfectly! I have a larger foot and I like how the placement of the seem above the toe breaks up the long section of the boot and makes my foot appear smaller.This boot is made of a soft, shiny, rich brown leather.I only wish the opening was a 1/2 inch to an inch smaller for people with smaller calves. But it's not too big to wear with tights.YES! After months of shopping, I found a winner!
