I bought these to wear, both at work and on my motorcycle (as I commuted back and forth).Overall, they were UNsatisfactory. While they were fairly comfortable for steel toed boots, I found that the leather was so thin that, after one commute, the slight abrasion from the shift lever was wearing through to the steel toe. I'm not a sport bike rider, I was commuting on an '05 Kawasaki Concours. I shifted gently and not very often. Most of my commute is interstate.Upon closer examination, you can see that these boots are constructed rather cheaply. Consequently they wore out in two days and I returned them.If you are not going to subject them to a lot of hard wear, these boots might be okay for you. However, most people who get steel toed boots count on them to be rough and ready. I wouldn't recommend these boots if you planned to actually "work" in them.
