I bought these boots based on the previous reviewer's rating of five stars. They also look cute in the picture, and I thought they would look great with leggings and dresses. They are cute, and I am really impressed with the shaft of the boot, in particular. The quality is great, and they look like real leather. The fit is good, and although I have small calves, there is plenty of room for those with bigger calves, too. The part of the boot that I am unimpressed with, is the shoe/foot area of the boot. They are a bit cheap looking, and their shape is almost boat-like. I feel a bit self conscious that my feet look big in them, and I only wear a size 7! They seem to run a little big, and I probably could wear them in at least a half size smaller. However, I do think these boots are decent for the price. They are cute, and not completely cheap looking. They are comfortable and seem like they will last a long time. I do not wear leather for ethical reasons, so if you are looking for a decent pair of classic, non-leather boots, this a decent pick for the price.
