Great trendy shoe for the money. They are a very neutral sole, if that is what you are looking for. The sole isn't thick or as built up as the heel suggests, which would be my only complaint. I wouldn't want to walk in these all day, but they are fine for normal everyday use. Also wanted to point out that the laces / sole are more orange than red - which I prefer. I think amazon recently changed the picture to be more accurate. I would buy again.
