My daughter wanted to go as a Monster High character for Halloween. I reluctantly agreed. This Costume consists of a skirt, 2-1 top/jacket, choker and belt. It DOES NOT include the wig, braclettes, boots or fishnet thigh highs.I got this costume in a medium. My daughter typically wears an 8. Upon trying it on I was horrified by how incredibly short it was. The skirt was beyond a mini-skirt more like micro-mini skirt! There was NO way my little girl was going out in that. So I got it in a Large 10-12. Well, that skirt was a bit longer (finger-tip length at least) but the top was far to large more like an 14. so now I have 2 of the same costumes just to make sure she fully covered and modest. She is wearing the top from the Medium and the skirt from the Large. All said and done Ive spent $60 (including the wig) just so she could be her beloved Monster High character.The quailty of this costume is very poor. The fur on the collar is cheap and flat the sleeves are not sewn well and the skirts seams are not even and they ripple because they are poorly sewn. The black net ruffle under the skirt is a complete joke and might as well be removed since it cause the skirt to scrunch up. They really didnt do a good job designing this at all! The only thing I can say is a plus is that its 2 pieces so when my daughter raises her hands the skirt doesnt go up! She tried on the Frankie Stein costume and since its a 1 piece dress when she raised her hands the skirt went up WAY to far!!!On a side note, the wig (NOT INCLUDED) is also a horrible joke and falls into her face and eyes. Its not cut how its shown in the pictures and the colors are different.
