    I ordered these boots after a lot of hesitation. I normally have to try on a shoe/boot before buying because I have a hard time with sizing. I normally wear an 8.5 but depending how a shoe is made, I sometimes need a 9. I looked for reviews on fit, but could not find anything that was helpful. So, hopefully I will be able to help someone else out! To be really specific, the length of my bare foot is 25 cm (9.84 inches) & I measure about 13 3/4 inches around my calves. I ordered these boots in an 8.5 in the luggage color. They are a great fit, with enough room for socks. A size 9 would have been too large. They leave me with about an inch of room to work with in the calf, so jeans will be no problem to tuck inside. They are not real leather, but on most sites that I've looked at, the description says that they are not leather, so I think the people giving these boots a so-so review because of the material should be ignored. I'll say this: you get what you pay for. It's a great boot for under $100!
